Sunset Village is located 2km away from the heart of Aglona, next to the lake Cīrišs. Featuring the most stunning sunset views, Sunset Village is a place for a soul to rest. Away from city noises, stress and craziness, you will find 4 cozy cottages where every evening sun falls into the lake and rises just in front of you. Aglona municipality can be proud of its rich cultural-historical heritage, its almost untouched natural riches, and creative people who develop tourism as one of the most significant additional sources of income for the inhabitants. Located just a 14-minute walk from Aglona Basilica,Sunset Village provides accommodations with 2 floor cottage houses, king-size bed with a views of lake. The most popular place of interest of Aglona municipality definitely is the Catholic gathering center – Aglona basilica which during the feast on August 15 gathers more than 300 000 believers from Latvia and all parts of the world. Every cottage has a spacious terrace, free private parking, free Wifi and access to the private beach where you can take a free ride with one of our boats. There are plenty things to do while visiting us - visit Aglona Bread Museum and dig into the history of rye bread and make your own loaf of bread - bake it, take it home. In a walk of 20 minutes there is a The King's Hill of Christ- where you can enjoy hill wth wooden sculptures, For militry history lovers, there is a World War II Exposition Hall where you will have a chance to meet the owner - who can tell you interesting stories about exhibit. In a shor drive of 20 minutes you will find Devils Lake-A transparent lake, which is said to have no bottom, is one of the lakes of Latgale that is surrounded by the largest number of legends.
