The apartment "Heart of Mitau" is in Jelgava's centre. The studio apartment features one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom—a perfect choice for those who want to experience the city's pulse. With a truly magnificent view, the location in the city centre gives a historical sense of Jelgava (historically Mitau), once the capital of the Duchy of Courland and Semigallia. Given that the historical centre of the city was bombed during the 2nd World War, in its place, apartment buildings were built. This place is located in one of these buildings on the 4th floor. It has an amazing view, but it takes courage to reach it. I have been a traveller for many years all over the world. I know how important it is to have a place to rest and enjoy the city for a short while. I wanted to create a place where travellers could get to know the city and take a rest. I love Baltics and Latvia, so I am pleased to welcome you to my hometown. Once, it was the capital of the united Duchy of Courland and Semigallia. However, now, it has left behind evidence of its magnificence, like the biggest palace in the Baltics. Appartement is located in the centre, where once was a market. You will find photos of Jelgava in its glorious times in the apartment. Be aware that the apartment is located on the 4th floor without an elevator. It is also located in the city centre.

Close to the apartment are my favourite places for enjoying delicious meals: - Restaurant Parks, Chocolate & Pepper, Central Caffe and Tornis are just across the street, - Restaurant Pilsētas Elpa is a 5min walk, - Tea House is a 5min walk. Its perfect location offers the chance to discover the biggest castle in Baltics, which is only a 5 min walk, Academia Petrina (the oldest higher educational establishment in Latvia), Holy Trinity Church tower, and an island that is home to wild horses. The apartment is located in the centre of all of this. The main bus station is located a 7min walk away. Some minibuses bring you to Riga in 50min, and the closest cities are Dobele and Bauska. The train station is located 20 min walk away. If you come by car, just put the address in the navigator, which will bring you to the city centre. You can park your car in the backyard or parking places on streets that are free. You can park in the small backyard next to the building for only for 30min (please, put the clock in the window).
