I’m Mayke, and I’m fortunate to host four beautiful guesthouses here in Luxembourg: Château de Clémency Tailor's Trail in Beaufort Un der Attert in Boevange Beim Mulles in Vianden My journey with this wonderful country began by chance in 2021, when I was traveling from Italy to the Netherlands and found myself in Luxembourg. It didn’t take long before I fell in love with the charm, beauty, and warmth of this place. Now, I have the honor of running these four guesthouses, and there’s nothing I love more than welcoming guests, making them feel at home, and helping them discover the splendor of Luxembourg. You are warmly welcome here, and I look forward to meeting you! Pascal is a passionate architect specializing in the restoration of old buildings. His greatest passion lies in transforming small, forgotten gems in Luxembourg into unique guest accommodations. With his own construction team, he brings the soul of these special places back to life. But his work doesn’t stop at renovation; Pascal equally enjoys designing the interiors and ensuring that each item is perfectly placed. He combines his love for authentic, historic materials with the comforts of modern times, so that guests can enjoy a unique and comfortable experience while still feeling the charm of the past. A WARM WELCOME! Our small, authentic château dating back to 1634 is an experience in itself. Nestled in the quaint village of Clémency, it’s the perfect spot for relaxation and exploring Luxembourg. Your spacious private areas, with all the amenities, exude an atmosphere of serenity and peace. Our castle is located in the heart of the Luxembourg countryside, making it the ideal “base camp” for excursions in nature or the city. Luxembourg is 80 km long and 50 km wide, with everything within reach to explore. DISCOVER THE CASTLE Château de Clémency, is a modest castle. The building’s human scale is the complete opposite of a feudal castle, giving you the feeling of arriving at a family home. In addition to your private space, Clémency Castle also offers shared areas: a fully equipped kitchen & dining room “Bei der Giedel” and two terraces. There is thought behind everything you’ll find in our castle, whether it’s the size of the beds, the architecture, or the ecological footprint…we’re happy to share our stories with you. Our philosophy is that our castle is your home. For this reason, we offer a fully equipped kitchen with an honesty bar for each room. In our wine cellar, you’ll find a selection of (local) wines. The bakery/mini-supermarket is just 50 meters from the castle. BE INSPIRED The interior design (by Pascal Zimmer & Co.) is focused on creating unique atmospheres. All rooms are arranged conceptually, allowing you to immerse yourself in the ambiance of a different era. The furnishings—contemporary pieces harmonized with antiques—are sourced from around the world, each piece complementing the theme of its space. You are most welcome! We have four unique rooms and a studio/loft available. You can, of course, also rent the entire castle, giving you exclusive use for you and your family and/or friends.

Château de Clémency is located in the center of the Luxembourg City / Esch-sur-Alzette / Lac d'Esch-sur-Sûre triangle. Luxembourg City is the perfect city trip to combine with Luxembourg's natural beauty. Even as a standalone city trip, Luxembourg is well worth a visit: the city is set on hills, offering stunning views, and features a beautiful “balcony” with many historical monuments scattered throughout. Everything is within walking distance. Luxembourg has a rich culinary scene, offering everything from local specialties to Michelin-starred dining—something for every taste. Luxembourg provides unparalleled opportunities to explore nature. The famous Minett Trail runs right past our castle. Just 50 km away, you’ll find yourself in the Mullerthal region, also known as “Little Switzerland” for its breathtaking hiking trails. By the way, we have a guesthouse there too: Tailor's Trail. For music lovers, our castle is also the perfect starting point; both the Rockhal and the Philharmonie are just 20 minutes away. With its proximity to the business and commercial centers of Esch and Luxembourg, our castle is ideal for those seeking accommodation for a business trip. For wine enthusiasts, there’s a beautiful wine route where you can visit wineries along the way. And back to history: the castle route is truly inspiring. In Clémency, you’ll find four restaurants within walking distance, a pubs, and a bakery/mini-supermarket. All public transportation in Luxembourg is free. You can hop on a train, bus, or tram easily. The bus to the city stops right at our door, and the nearest train station is just 10 minutes away. For a relaxing time at the sauna, bowling, adventure trails, and more, we have the “Discover Luxembourg Wall” with plenty of informative flyers.
