Imagine yourself in from of fireplace, drinking herbal tea, reading good old book, and the only place that may distract your peace is the greeting of cranes who are returning for a nights sleep. Do you remember how it feels to have barefoot walk on the misty grass early in the morning? Saying hello to hundred year old Oak Tree and splashing your face with the cold water of the creek? You will experience all this and more in this heartily looked after country homestead. You will travel back through time and get to place of tranquility and harmony, to a place where your souls gets rested and you gain energy for new thoughts and dreams. This homestead is surrounded by forest and meadows, the 5 acre territory is divided by small creek 'Nova'. Nearby is 'Novaraistis' the ornithological reserve, where cranes gather for a night sleep. Homestead has sauna, outdoor gazebos, ponds, fireplaces, outdoor kitchen. Also - vast green areas suitable for various events. You may camp in tents. I sincerely hope that one day I can meet you and show the beauty of nature. See you soon!
I have privilege to be the owner of this homestead. More than once I have been told that I was born at least a hundred years too late :-) My interests lie in the history of Lithuania, it's folk and ancient customs, my family's history. I also love needlework and can not imagine my life without music of the 1950s.
Homestead is surrounded by the forest. Creek 'Nova' flows across it. Three kilometers from the homestead is ornithological reserve 'Novaraistis'. It is the place of breeding for hundreds or thousands of Cranes. Each morning they fly over the homestead to feed and fly back late in the evening.
