Our Camp is located on the edge of a Knuckles forest, dense vegetation to create a homely jungle feeling. You can reach camp from Kandy within 2.0 hours and the next small village is about 20 minutes by car. The camp itself welcome you with a lush fish pond and center of our camp it includes the two cabanas ,kitchen, Dinning aria .From there small path lead to the Tent areas . An open area with space to BBQ & Bonfire dine and relax. It's worth to sit down and find a quiet spot to observe.

I am very passionate about the Great Outdoors!! I am a native with a lot of experience in hiking. Hiking has been a huge part of my life since high school. I have a great in-depth knowledge of local flora, fauna & the history of the region. I'm a Scout, a good tracker, expert with outdoor survival skills & fully qualified First Aider. I like to meet and host people from all over the world and I like to share my knowledge with you. I am flexible therefore, able to tailor your trip to your likings.

The Knuckles Mountain Range covers parts of the Kandy and Matale districts in Sri Lanka. It is separated from the Central Hills by the Mahaweli Valley to the South and East, and the Matale Valley to the West. It has an amazing diversity of plants, and species that makes it stand out as one of the most amazing places to visit in Sri Lanka. A unique feature here is that Knuckles seems to have its own climatic microcosm and is home to a higher percentage of the island’s biodiversity - despite its small size. The vegetation found at Knuckles is divided into five types, these are: semi evergreen, sub montane, montane and riverine forests, and the pathana and savannah grasslands. The Knuckles Mountain Range is considered one of the toughest hiking trails in the country. It is best attempted by those who have prior experience in hiking. That being said, no matter how experienced you are, it’s mandatory to have a guide. Besides, due to the area’s vastness and the possibility of getting lost, hikers are only allowed to enter the protected reserve with a qualified guide. Failure to do so will land you in trouble with the authorities. Experienced trekkers will assist you at the Knuckles Conservation area which is a famous tourist destination offering jungle treks, mountain climbing and opportunities for overnight camping.
