Summer House was designed and built to showcase a typical Sri Lankan home-style stay in complete privacy with all modern comforts for the enjoyment of all guests. This tranquil private home offers a perfect stop for guests visiting Sri Lanka for work or play. We are a happy home for individuals, couples, small families and we also welcome Pet guests on prior request. Summer House is designed with Minimalistic interior carefully handpicked to combine modern comforts with the rustic charm of an old Ceylon home. Our two rooms are tastefully designed with fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms, a kitchenette with small pantry and high ceiling for cool air circulation. Our stylishly furnished bedroom provides sleeping facility for two with ultra comfortable bedlinen, extra pillows and bath linen. The second room can be used as a living room or extra bedroom for additional guests and comes with either lounge or sleeping facilities based on the request. The villa is equipped with tea/coffee maker, cutlery and crockery and a refrigerator.

Local restaurants, Street food vendors serving popular local favourite food Kottu and Hoppers, and mini supermarkets are available within walking distance or 15 minutes by taxi or tuk tuk. Chemist, launderette, fresh fruits, and vegetable vendor stalls are available 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away from Summer House. For more exploration of the island, we are centrally located from major towns i.e.15 minutes to Jaela town and Jaela railway station, 35 minutes to Wattala town, 30 minutes away from Negombo Beach and 40 minutes away from the vibrant city of Colombo, giving easy access to these popular destinations in a short travel time. The Katunayaka Expressway is located only 15 minutes from Summer House giving convenient access to Sri Lankas top holiday destinations like Bentota and Galle within 60-90 minutes.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Summer House is adorned with a tranquil pond with fish floating around for a refreshing arrival experience and ambience. The long terracotta verandah with spacious seating overlooks our beautifully manicured lawns and is a perfect spot to indulge in the natural surroundings. We are happy to book spa appointments and local experience tours for our guests based on their preference prior or during their stay. Guests can access the swimming pool and gymnasium located within the neighbourhood.
