Our guesthouse has received a full renovation and opened September 2023, under new management.

Mount Bay Guest House is located on the beautiful beach of Mount Lavinia, Colombo. We have 6 spacious deluxe bedrooms, 3 double and 3 twin rooms, all include air conditioning, attached bathrooms with hot water showers and private balconies. We have an inhouse cafe where you can enjoy tea, coffee and snacks, and morning breakfast can be arranged for all guests. Mount Lavinia beach is located 20 meters away, crossing the railway track, with its golden sands and blue sea's. There is an array of bars and restaurants, including our partner restaurant 'Sugar Beach' where you can find a chill vibe atmosphere, delicious food and and array of food options.

Mount Lavinia is a bubbly yet chilled out place in a very short distance from Colombo. This is a perfect place to enjoy the sun, the beach, good food and nightlife. We offer offsite water sports activities at the Bolgoda lake as well with jet skis, kayaks, banana and tube rides, boat rides, fishing and lagoon safaris - please ask us for more information.
