Hey we're Ishan & Jenny and we'll be your hosts at Bird House Mirissa! Me, Ishan, born & raised in Mirissa (on the property where Bird House now excists) have worked with tourism for over 10years. Bird House was built by my father and it was my dream come true in 2020 to start full time managing Bird House, that I do nowadays together with my Finnish wife Jenny and my family who lives at the property and helps along when needed. We both love nature, animals and a simple life with an positive mindset and this is the feeling that we want to bring with Bird House to our guests as well. We enjoy so much to meet likeminded guests all around the world and share stories and thoughts, but we also respect travellers who wants to stay to their own. We're all different, and luckily so! ;) We always do our best that you'll have a comfortable stay at Bird House and we're happy to help wether it's with a taxi, to book a tour or give any recommendations what to do in Mirissa and nearby villages.
