Berty's Cottage – A Charming SLTDA (Srilanka Tourism Development Authority) registered Homestay in Jaffna. At Berty's Cottage, it’s not just a stay—it’s "Your Home Away, Memories That Stay." We pride ourselves on creating a personalised experience that celebrates the uniqueness of every guest. With a commitment to flexibility and customised service, we go above and beyond to ensure every moment is special, leaving you with cherished memories that last long after your stay. Berty's Cottage, a serene and beautifully renovated homestay nestled in the heart of Jaffna. Our peaceful, super clean, and safe accommodation offers a perfect blend of comfort and tradition, just a short stroll from Jaffna Railway Station and 1 km from the historic Nallur Temple. Our homestay features five nonsmoking rooms, with three offering air conditioning and two equipped with fans to suit your comfort needs. Each room is designed with a private bathroom and shower (please note, we do not provide hot water). Start your mornings with a delicious breakfast with tea/coffee of authentic Jaffna Vegetarian cuisine (String hoppers, Dosa, Idly & Pittu) prepared with care and served with a warm smile. For additional meals, only for dinner, we offer service at an extra charge if requested in advance. Kindly note that consumption of alcohol are not permitted in our peaceful homestay. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and on-site private parking for added convenience. Our tranquil garden provides an ideal space for relaxation, making Berty's Cottage the perfect base for exploring Jaffna's rich culture and heritage.
