This place is a beautiful paradise on earth. On the ocean shore, with the soothing sounds of the waves and the sounds of the jungle, with sunrise on the beach and morning yoga on the balcony, you will find your inner peace and deepest sleep. You'll be entertained by a group of monkeys prancing in the trees, noble cows in the distance, pet dogs, funny little squirrels, cheerful fish, a chameleon friend, and thousands of twinkling fireflies at night.
The people who provide this place of peace have huge hearts full of love, humility, gratitude and will ask you every day with a kind smile what they can do for you. They are hospitable, completely natural, fun and good people. Do you want to prepare the food yourself? No problem. Do you want to experience quality homemade food cooked with love and according to Ayurvedic principles? No problem.
Here you can experience the real life of the locals. The owner can arrange a Thuk-Thuk for you and you can go visit in the area: - Dikwella, a nearby town with a temple that houses the tallest statue of a seated Buddha in Sri Lanka, - a turtle rescue site in Dikwella, - beautiful beaches in the area such as Hiriketiya beach (15 MINUTES), which is the most famous surfing beach, the owner is a surf instructor with can provide you with quality surfing lessons, - Hummanaya Blowhole is the famous blowhole in Sri Lanka, it is considered the second largest blowhole in the world, a so called blowhole where the ocean water hits the rocks and makes a "whoosh" sound that can be heard from far away when the blowhole is active, - Galle Dutch Fort Lighthouse- there is a beautiful lighthouse, an old clock tower, former government buildings, museums, churches, temples and a mosque. A walk along the fortress walls overlooking the sea is an experience, - Tea plantation and tea factory, - Safari in Yala national park or Udawalawe national park.
