Prek Svay - ‘Mango River’ - is a traditional fishing village built along the river and over the ocean and backed by palm trees. There are several restaurants to choose from. Lonely Beach and Palm Beach are within walking distance and scooters can be hired to travel further afield to discover many other beautiful beaches and the rest of the island. Kayaks can be rented to explore the mangroves and nearby coastline. It is possible to trek into the jungle and to nearby waterfalls from the village. There are boat tours available that include fishing, snorkelling, beach BBQ’s and the incredible opportunity to swim with the bioluminescent plankton for which this island is famous.
