We, a couple of Japanese and Thai, started our guesthouse as small family-run business in 2015. Junichi(Japanese) is a licensed English tour guide, being able to guide you in French/Thai/Japanese as well. Puy can serve you her fantastic Thai foods in our restaurant. Junichi worked in Africa for 10 years as development aid specialists. We enjoy our new ventures in this small but beautiful town, Takayama. We welcome all the guests as if you are our family members.

"Thanyaporn Hotel" is newly constructed in March 2019, and just opened in April 2019, in 5 mins walk from Takayama station. Convenient location to go to old town and city center of Takayama. It has 5 units of condominium type of 2-bedrooms apartment. Max 5 guests can stay in 2 bedrooms and luxurious bathroom and kitchen, living room all for your private use. As we operate registered Travel Agency, you are welcome to join our private or group tour to Shirakawago, by roughly 5,000yen per person. We can organize private tours to nearby areas (such as Kanazawa, Nagoya, Matsumoto, Alpen-Route, Kawaguchiko, etc.), airport pickup from Chubu Centrair Airport or Kansai Airport, as well as halfday or 1 day tour to Shirakawago historical heritage village, Shinhotaka Ropeway, or Mt.Norikura/Kamikochi Trekking tour.

"Thanyaporn Hotel" is located very conveniently in 5 mins walk from takayama train/bus station. Another 5 mins walk to Old Town preserved area. You can enjoy traditional Japanese architecture and landscape all year around in Takayama town. Jinya old government office, miyagawa morning market, festival floats museum, higashiyama temple walking courses, sakurayama shrine, etc. are all in walkable distance from the guesthouse.
