Snowball Chalet is our dream ski chalet. When we go on holiday we want to be blown away by our accommodation and room. We want it to feel special and luxurious. After traveling the world and working 7 back to back ski seasons, Dan and Andy Solo have finally found the perfect place to settle their skis and snowboards and share their love of adventure, Japan and snow with guests from all over the world. Without a doubt, Japan is the best destination for a winter holiday! The wonderful people, fabulous food, powder snow, incredible culture, history, bullet trains, sumo, gardens, sake, scenery, temples, onsens (hot springs), ice sculptures, fire festivals all contribute to giving people an unforgettable experience.

Snowball Chalet is located right near the ski run in a gorgeous little area surrounded by lovely Ski Chalets. It is just 100 meters away from Aki's Cafe and Ski School which runs English speaking lessons and the most amazing Back Country tours into the magic of the Madarao Mountain back country. Madarao is in a fabulous location right near other activities like Snow Monkey Tours, Paper Making, Soba Cooking classes and Sake Tasting experiences (and much more) which we can organize for you when you are ready for a break from the skiing and boarding.
