We are renovating an old Japanese house from about 100 years ago, we self-renovated it together with volunteers from all over the world and brought it back to life with our own feelings. The doors and walls are different from Western style. I'm doing my best to clean it, but since he's living in nature, I can't get rid of bugs. We would be grateful if you could come with an open mind and enjoy nature. Since I moved to this area, I have spent every day being grateful for it, and my worldview has changed dramatically, so I started this guesthouse because I wanted everyone to experience the charm of Mamihara.

Check-in is from 6:00 to 7:00, but we can be flexible. Please consult with us. (Please keep to the check-out time as we will be cleaning the room.) We will not be at the location, so we will contact you the day before or on the day of check-in to inform you of the check-in time and how to enter the room.

Our guesthouse is conveniently located in the center of Mamihara, a 1-minute walk from the post office, butcher, and vegetable shop, and a 2-minute walk from a tofu shop, fish shop, and izakaya bar. Although it is small, the local shopping street remains, allowing you to travel as if you were living there. Please enjoy the historic townscape.We live between the famous tourist spots Tsujunkyo Bridge, Takachiho Gorge, and Aso. This is a historic land located at the foot of the Heitate Shrine, which is visited by worshipers from all over the world, and is blessed with the natural power of Oku-Aso.
