Set in the woods by Mount Kuruhi, Hotel Shogetsutei is 5 minutes from Kinosaki-Onsen Train Station on the free shuttle. It features beautiful outdoor hot-spring baths and a spa. Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei is the largest ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen and the sister ryokan of Nishimuraya Honkan. It has 98 guest rooms and a variety of facilities including private onsen spa & aroma treatment massage facility. Shogetsutei is nestled next to a quiet mountain forest.
In addition to creating luxurious Japanese kaiseki cuisine, Nishimuraya's head chef Etsunobu Takahashi enjoys gardening, bonsai, fishing, and creating Japanese-style dishes using a variety of materials.
Kinosaki Onsen is a quaint, traditional town with a river running through the middle, old-style Japanese ryokan, 7 public hot springs baths, and many quaint restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
