Named after the Japanese maple trees that surround us and completed in december 2020, our 3 bedroom & 1 tatami room house is located in Hakuba just 5 minutes walk from Iwatake ski hill and 2 minutes from Iwtake onsen. Our location is unique, nestled away in the trees away from the noise. Owned by an English and Japanese couple, this house was designed as a family home so rest assured it has all the comforts you'll be looking for on your vacation. We securly register Credit Card details using Square POS but no holding charge is made. No shoes in the house: Please take off your shoes in the entrance. We are a Japanese-UK couple with pet dog who have lived in Hakuba year round since 2012. With both of us being pasionate about the outdoors, we hope to help our guests get the most from their time in Hakuba with our knowledge of the area, whether it be activiities or food, we're here to help.

Our location is unique and nestled away in the trees away from the noise. Only 5 minutes walk from Iwatake mountain resort means you have some of the best activities on your doorstep in winter and summer. The bus stop at iwatake or short taxi trip will take you everywhere else if you dont have a car. After a day of skiing or cycling, guests can soak in the nearby onsen only 2 minutes walk away, relax out on the deck in the sun or watch TV in the lounge next to the fire. There are a selection of restaurants nearby and a popular brew pub with a large selection of craft beer 5 minutes walk away. Skiing, snowboarding, back country touring, Hiking, Paragliding, fishing, mountain biking, kayaking.
