Wadi Rum is a desert with diverse terrain, dominated by a desert climate. It is located within the borders of the Hisma Desert, which is one of the most beautiful deserts in the world. The valley attracted filmmakers, especially science fiction films whose events take place on the planet Mars, due to the strong similarity between the terrain of Wadi Rum and the planet Mars.
