Aqaba is a great vacation location almost everyplace you want to go to requires entrance fee and it is very hard to find a beach that is nice with shaded areas and places to site without paying an entrance fee and lots of shops do not accept credit cards so it’s always good to go with cash and options to withdraw cash

Jordan is a wonderful country!
Jordan is a wonderful country! I stayed in Aqaba just for scuba diving. The city itself is not particularly interesting and if I was not diving, I wouldn't spend more than 1-2 days there. There are far more interesting places to visit in Jordan., like Petra, the Wadi Rum, Madaba, Jerash, Umm Qais and the Dead Sea.
The beach is OK, if you go to a private beach with a better infrastructure. I would recommend Berenice Beach, where you pay 13 JOD and can stay the whole day, with beach, nice pool, showers and restaurants and water sports at an extra price. The public beaches are not so clean and don't have nice facilities.

Beautiful water and diving.
Beautiful water and diving. Nice coastal town with lots of dining options. Great diving opportunities for novice and licensed divers. Aqaba Leaders Dive Center provided an AMAZING dive experience for me as a novice un-licensed diver. You can see so much incredible coral, fish, etc. in the clear Red Sea water. Check out Aqaba Leaders Dive Center for group or individual dives. It was the highlight of my visit to Aqaba!

Aqaba is a great place to visit, from the friendly locals, great Scuba and some great local and international restaurants. Some of the larger hotels have some great 'private' beaches. Always a pleasure to visit

The city is awesome, surrounded by nature and the weather...
The city is awesome, surrounded by nature and the weather was great although the last day was starting to become super hot. The sense of hospitality is non-existent and for non-arabic speakers it is super challenging.
The only beach club worth going is Berenice as it is cheap and has a natural beach (although it's sea beach and not ocean one). But do not expect good service as it does not exist in the city.
If you are going to dive or other outdoor activity, I recommend but to enjoy sunny days by the beach, look for another place to go.
Food is also good but again, they have no sense of hospitality and if you don't speak Arabic it gets worse.

Really downtown, like the name of the hotel. The cleanest hotel we have been to in Jordan, with very comfortable beds. Our bathroom was tiny, but we were offered by the very polite staff, to use another one, or change rooms if we needed to. Unfortunately we didn't have time to taste the breakfast, so no opinion on that, but I m confident it would be as good as the rest of the experience.
Amasing resort with amazing facilities. You can get all in one place they have all king of activities including volleyball ,fotball, yoga, etc.
The Red sea is stunning. Our diving experience was one of the best where you can see tank and airplaine under the water.
Breakfast , room , food, service are fantastic. By far the best 5 star hotel in Aqaba
Special thanks to Mohammad the hotel manager who arranged for us another booking because I got the dates wrong.
The workers were very kind !
Room was tidy and water was provided
Tip : only 10 JD to spend the day at Tala bay if you take it with the hotel, otherwise it is 35 JD
The hotel staff was very kind.
If the you want to have a swim and a nice time on the beach I definitely recommend the paid trip to a private beach they are offering. It was worth the money due to the state of public beaches in Jordan.
Best breakfast during our Jordan Holidays.
Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Seems to be a quite new Hotel.
Good Restaurants are very close to the hotel. Only a 5-10 minutes walk away.
