With sweeping views over the Umbrian hills, Country House Montali offers a peaceful stay and an "on request" food possibility from what it has been an award-winning vegetarian restaurant. Rooms have a balcony and feature the traditional stone walls. Family-run Montali has an outdoor pool and sun terrace with panoramic countryside views. Guests can stroll in the landscaped gardens or enjoy a game of billiards in the games room. A vegetarian continental-style breakfast is provided every day including fresh croissants and local cheeses, plus a freshly cooked dish which varies daily. The spacious rooms are decorated in a country style and have antique furniture. All have private bathrooms with a shower. The Montali Country House is just a 20-minute drive from Lake Trasimeno. The historic towns of Perugia and Assisi can be reached in under an hour.
