Located in the heart of Como, on the second floor of a historic building, this four-room apartment offers a unique experience that combines old-world charm and modern comfort. The flat, characterised by period details and furnishings, is designed to accommodate up to 6 guests. The spacious living room welcomes guests with a warm and cosy atmosphere, enriched by antique furniture that creates a unique ambience. The dining area, furnished with a spacious table for 6 people, is ideal for convivial dinners and moments of sharing. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, oven and microwave) and everything you need to prepare meals like at home. A small table with 2 chairs adds an intimate space for breakfast or quick breaks. There are 3 bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with a comfortable double sofa bed, offer comfort and privacy. The spacious wardrobes in the main rooms are designed for tidying up your wardrobe even during longer holidays.
(Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we think it is only fair that you use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa). The bathroom, complete with toilet, bidet and tub/shower combination, is practical and spacious. In addition, the apartment has a private washing machine. A set of towels is included in the stay for each person, along with sheets and blankets and a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessities for a breakfast. To complete, the flat has a private car park outside, providing guests with easy and safe access during their stay.

In a few minutes you can reach the walled city and stroll through the cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. In 10/15 minutes you can reach: the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historical entrances to the walled city. A 15-minute walk takes you to Piazza Cavour, Como's largest square, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous resorts on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).
 On foot, or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by taking the lakeside Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno you will also find the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a scenic trek towards the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way. How to get there:  By car: From the A9 motorway exit "Como, Monte Olimpino" in 14 min you are at the flat. By train: After arriving at the "Como San Giovanni" station, walk for about 4 min to the "Como, S.Rocchetto" stop and take Bus N1 for 6 stops to the "Como, Battisti" stop. From there, you are in front of the flat in 8 min on foot.
