Porte di Venezia is a newly built Villa (2019), located in the country where you will feel at home. All Guests immediately notice that our neighborhood is so quiet, as we are located at the end of a small lane, and the fields begin behind us. The position, however, is strategic: 3 km from Venice Marco Polo airport, and only 14 km from Venice historical center. Welcome to your relaxing holiday! Please note that the price DOES NOT INCLUDE the Touristic Tax (4,00 Euros person/night). Upon arrival, Guests will be asked to pay it CASH to the Host, for a maximum of five nights. Also, all Guests are required to show a photo ID and to sign a Short Term Lease Agreement containing a Privacy Note. Breakfast is not included and food will not be provided. However, our fully equipped kitchen is at the disposal of all Guests, or you can have breakfast or other meals at the nearest coffee shop and restaurant, situtated at 5 minutes walk. Time for Silence is from 23.00 to 7.00. Only booked Guests will be accepted. Check-in (in person): 14.00-23.00. For later check-in a surcharge of 20 Euro will apply and the time must be agreed in advance. Otherwise you can do a free self check-in by sending us copy of the IDs of all guests in advance. Venice is truly a unique city! We are sure you will be enchanted by it, and we will do our very best to make your holiday unforgettable! Please ask us any information you might need, about places to visit and where to eat great Italian food! One of our favourite hobbies is travelling and visiting places, so we can't wait to give you some tips! Please note that WE NEVER HAVE HIGH WATER PROBLEMS, because we are on land! High water comes rarely in Venice historical center, and not in spring or summer.

Venice is a ‘must see’ but also the sorroundings are so interesting! Close to our Home, you will find some restaurants and coffee shops (the nearest one is at 5 minutes walk) and a lot of places to visit and enjoy… A few examples: By bus: Interactive Museum 9M in Mestre (6 km) By train (one day trip): historical towns such as Treviso (20 km), Padua (30 km), Verona (120 km). Natural beauties: Venice Lagoon for relaxing walks (4km), Jesolo Beach (30 km), the Prosecco Hills for wine tasting (50 km), the Dolomites for trekking or skiing (100 km). MOVING AROUND: Bus to Venice: regular bus service every 20-25 minutes, nearest bus stop at 5 minutes walk. One way ticket costs Euro 1,50 and it takes about 25 minutes to reach downtown Venice. Buses continue until late evening (23.30). Bus to/from Marco Polo Airport: nr 45 connects us directly. 5 minutes drive (3 stops). Our stop is TORRE, the ride costs 10 Euros. If you are two or more, the best transfer to/from the airport is taxi (fares between 14 and 20 Euro). For further information please contact us! The network of public transport also connects the railway stations of Venice Mestre and S.Lucia and Mestre Hospital. Treviso Canova airport is about 30 minutes away by car or bus (please ask us for details). The highway is 3 km away Also, at walking distance there are several Rent-a-car companies with very competitive rates... ask us for info.
