Set in a stone farmhouse 6 km from Greve, Le Cetinelle features an outdoor pool surrounded by tree-lined gardens. With wood-beam ceilings and country-style fabrics, rooms are traditional yet comfortable. All rooms at the Cetinelle come with private bathroom and views of the Tuscan hills. The Cetinelle Agriturismo’s breakfast includes cappuccino or tea with homemade cakes and fresh bread. A communal kitchen and barbecue area are available for guests’ use, together with a covered poolside patio. Florence is a one-hour drive from the Greve in Chianti Cetinelle. The A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway is 22 km away.

There are 6 bed and breakfast rooms, each with private bathroom, on the first floor of the main house. Simonetta decorated and furnished each one in keeping with the traditional Tuscan style of exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors. Also on the first floor is the large dining room with its beautiful fireplace where our guests take their breakfast each morning, and the kitchen which is always accessible. The rooms are all different colours – lilac, yellow, blue, ivory, green and peach, the last being located in the pigeon loft of the house on the second floor. All the rooms and bathrooms have windows. The peach room has 4 arched windows. All the soft furnishing are in harmony with the room colours as are the colourful voile curtains. The bathrooms complement the bedrooms and all have showers, apart from the Ivory room which has both a shower and a bathtub. Simonetta prepares breakfast each morning personally and is served between 8,30 and 9,30 am. The tables are ready laid for the guests who just have to choose from the buffet of bread, biscuits, eggs, cereals, yoghurt, juice in the kitchen . During the warmer months the guests are welcome to take breakfast outside.
LUCA AND SIMONETTA We restored the farmhouse, then we converted it into a Bed and Breakfast, putting all our taste and care into the place to ensure that the guests feel completely at home when they arrive. The main work was the conversion of the upper part of the main house into 6 bedrooms, each with private bathroom. The building work was done by Luca's capable hands and finished off by by Simonetta who painted each room in different colours, and chose the soft furnishings and the traditional furniture that renders each room special. The large breakfast room has a large fireplace that is lit during the winter months, and lastly there is a kitchen where Simonetta prepares the breakfast every morning. Everyone can use the kitchen and this option is a welcome alternative to dining out. Here at Le Cetinelle, we are happy to provide Tuscan cooking classes and traditional Tuscan dinners for our guests. If you enjoy Italian food and are interested in learning the art of Tuscan cooking or in eating a true Tuscan dinner at your accommodations, this is the right opportunity for you!
Le Cetinelle is 4 km from the Parco Naturale San Michele , it is part of the range of the Chianti hills of which it is the highest point and it stands on the border of the provinces of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. It is a nature park which extends over 800 hectares and is one of the most important green zones of the whole Chianti area. There are many animal species, including wild boar, fallow deer, roebuck, hare, fox and porcupine. The typical woodland trees of Chianti include chestnut, poplars and wild cherry. The area around Greve in Chianti offers countless itineraries and places of natural and artistic beauty which are well worth seeing. Here the natural landscape and that made by man’s intervention have integrated sucessfully and have become one. This harmonious scene can be enjoyed from the windows of a car, from a bike, on horseback but it is on foot or by bike that one can best explore and appreciate all there is to see.
