This is one of the reasons why I decided to open the doors of the country house that once belonged to my grandfather. I love the Marche and in particular its small villages; the last custodians of ancient beauty and traditions. I'm looking forward to meeting you! The house is independent and away from other houses. The first houses are about 500 meters from the property in the small village of Cerreto. The village of Venarotta is about 2 km away, where all the services you may need are available: bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, post office, pizzerias, restaurants..etc. A large public swimming pool is available in Venarotta, located within a beautiful park. The pool is open from beginning of July to the end of August and we are available to manage the reservation of sun umbrellas for you. “Marche House” is only 10 km away from the monumental city of Ascoli Piceno, also known as the “hundred towers city” or “travertine city”, which is a perfect and unique mix of Roman, Medieval and Renaissance architectures. The “Forca di Presta” crossing is 37 km from the property, from which a main hiking trail starts to reach the summit of Mount Vettore (2,476 meters), also known as the King of Sibillini mountains. For those who wish an easier route (accessible to people with mobility impairment), there is a 3 km walkway also from Forca di Presta that ends with a beautiful lookout over the Laga Mountains. At a 47 km distance, you find the sandy beaches of San Benedetto del Tronto and the magnificent “Riviera delle Palme”, so called because of its over 8000 palms growing along the beach promenade and in the city center. The sandy beaches of San Benedetto have received the “Blue Flag” and they are characterized by a gentle slope into shallow sea water.
