Toscolano-Maderno is on the Lombard shore of Lake Garda. Here the ancient Romans already came on holiday, in fact a villa has recently been discovered, which seems to have belonged to a gladiator. Toscolano is also known for LA VALLE DELLE CARTIERE , a nice walk in the valley will take you to the PAPER MUSEUM where you can see how they once created the sheets of paper, and in summer it is wonderful to walk in the mill of the valley.
