We loved everything about our stay at this incredibly beautiful hotel. Ther service, room, the views, our morning breakfast, everything was exceptional. Our stay was comfortable, the rooms were clean and beautifully laid out. We loved our free tour of the castle with picturesque views and lots of art and history. Would love to mention each and every member of the staff, who took care of us so well and constantly sent us hot water and honey on request, with a smile, as I had a sore throat. Joseph was very courteous, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Such amazing people working at the hotel, the morning breakfast was also peaceful and oh so good! The staff again was patient and explained us all about the salads, desserts, breads and more at breakfast. And that sea view room view was just extraordinarily beautiful! We didn't want to leave. Thank you :)

True to the pictures which attracted us in first place, Hotel Capizzo provided a very pleasant stay for our family.
The reception gave us sea-view rooms next to one another without even having to ask for, paid good attention during our stay, and were even super kind to post forgotten items after we left.
The beaches are a nice sunny walk away, with a gentle bit of uphill - much needed for the unavoidable caloric surplus. Good breakfast and ok restaurant, with top alternatives nearby, like 'Da Vito'. Grazie Capizzo & Magic Ischia!

We stayed in 3 different hotels on Ischia (same location): Punta, Villa Myremi and Torre Sant Angelo. Punta has a unique looking like a cave tunnel with thermal water. Torre has the best views and a good breakfast (15 EUR if you not in hotel), and Villa Myremi has the best value for money and customer care.
At Punta we enjoyed a transfer from the bus stop and a nice greeting from the hotel. We also enjoyed staying for few more hours at the pool after check out. Thank you for this.
We had a room with a sea view. It was OK. The views from our room in Torre were amazing, much better.
Punta has 2 swimming pools: one small and one long with a unique, looking like a cave tunnel. This was a highlight of our stay. I’ve never seen anything like this. We loved it. Both pools have thermal water with healing properties. But keep in mind that these waters bore various components of radium, radon, thorium, uranium, and actinium. Together with this the radioactivity is so low that it is not harmful. It’s still recommended to remain immersed for no more than 15 minutes. 10 min down the stairs from hotel you can find the sea. Please keep in mind that Sorgeto beach is not sandy or pebbled. It has big rocks, some sharp with lots of fish and crabs in the water. Baia di Sorgeto is also a public thermal springs with a number of visitors during the day, but it’s empty till 8am. In Torre (our 3rd hotel) they have 3 pools, but nothing like a unique tunnel of Punta. In addition, in Torre they have a wellness center with a sauna, whirlpool, steam room, hot/cold/massage showers. No additional charges. I enjoyed it.
There are 3 restaurants at Punta. One is for breakfast (8-10). There is an additional menu for extras like scrambled eggs (from 5 EUR). Another restaurant is for lunch (12-17, but we once came at 16:25 and were told they are closing). Here you can order food like salads and brushettas. If you want hot food like pastas go to Da Gisela.

The Port town of Ischia was wonderful and provided easy access to booking island trips and ferry visits to the Islands of Procida and Capri close by. Via Roma the main fashion/shopping street was the centre for active browsing and great selection of cafe, eating and drinking. We took a boat trip around the island and buses to other parts both recommended. Lacco Ameno, a beautiful town not far from the Port well worth a visit. Overall a lovely island for a relaxed stay and trips to Prodica and Capri.

Ishia was a great stop for us coming from the Amalfi coast. Forio was beautiful and the old town was charming and very walkable. The buses are cheap and come frequently. Lots of great restaurants with reasonable prices. The Giardini la Mortella was amazing with a vast amount of exotic tropical plants and stellar views at the top. Giardini Ravino was also beautiful with a focus on succulent plants and cacti. Great views from the top as well. We hope to be back with more time to explore Ishia more thoroughly.

We loved Ischia. Planned to only visit as a day trip but changed mind at last minute and stayed 3 nights here, we are so glad we did.
Ischia is ideal for a short stay or long one. Just stay at Hotel Ambasciatori and swim, lounge and eat or explore and hike the hills and coasts.
So glad we discovered this jewel.

Ischia is not crowded...yet. We traveled to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento and Ischia is first of our favorites followed by Sorrento. Good food, reasonably priced, easy to get around, wonderful place to wander! We stayed 3 nights and wished it had been 4. Will be back!

Ischia is a beautiful island and a perfect place to relax. There is an extensive bus system which makes traveling around the island convenient (though the buses can be crowded). Taxis are available, too, but be sure to confirm the price for your trip before you get in or you might really get "taken for a ride!"

Breakfast was great. Staff will make you a fresh coffee if you ask. Better than the self-service coffee machine.
Walking distance from Ischia Ponte 15 -20 mins, though quite steep. Ischia Ponte is a lovely quiet resort.
Bus stop outside hotel, though only about one per hour. Timetable behind reception Bus €1.70 for a single. Taxi 15€ to Ponte and €20 to Ischia Porto.
Wonderful place, tucked away on the hillside with beautiful gardens and stunning views. Friendly, helpful staff. Didn't see any hotels on Ischia that I'd rather stay in and we explored almost the entire island.
Taxis are rather expensive from Ischia Porto due to circuitous route so would advise either getting the bus to Forio then utilising the hotel's free shuttle bus or just phoning or using WhatsApp to contact the hotel to arrange pick up for less of a fee than the taxis charge at the taxi rank.
It was our 3rd time at this Hotel and we loved every bit of it, as always.
It was a real pleasure to get back and find out that their kindness and professionalism are unchanged.
The restaurant offers savory meals, simple and full of taste, barely to be found elsewhere (we know Ischia very well and we tried several other restaurants but nothing compares so far.)
Rooms are cozy, spacious and very comfortable.
Also, being able to use the electric bikes was a terrific experience, I highly recommend it
I would really recommend this hotel for a vacation in Ischia, especially if you desire a calm and quiet place and atmosphere. It is suitable for families, but also for couples. The rooms are spacious, they should be renovated, but for now, you have everything you need. The breakfast is diverse and delicious. What I liked the most were the pools. You can also enjoy some spa treatments which are extra charge.
There is a parking for cars, but scooters can be rented at this hotel,too.
The town of Sant'Angelo on the island of Ischia was a fantastic place. It had beauty, good food, nice people, and options to travel to other locations by boat. We speak a small amount of Italian; but, it was not a problem at all.
From Florence, Italy: train to Napoli Centrale, pre-arranged taxi to the ferry, ferry to Ischia Porto, pre-arranged taxi to Sant'Angelo. It was an adventure.
Loved the hotel and it's people. Breakfast was superb and the scenery was really amazing.
