We have two houses on our property, but only the smaller Cottage/Chalets is available for rent. This cozy 24m2 accommodation is ideal for couples/friends traveling together. Despite being listed for 2 people, the Chalet can accommodate families of 4 guests with its bedroom and living room featuring a sleeper sofa. Bed sheets for up to 4 people can be provided at not extra cost. Our houses are heated with geothermal district heating system, ensuring hot water for showers, the jacuzzi in the garden, washing and keeping the interiors warm and comfortable. Located conveniently on the South Coast along the Golden Circle route, our cottage is perfect for visiting Iceland's most popular tourist attraction and taking day trips to the sights in the southern part of the Iceland. This area is a summerhouse area only 45 minutes driving from Reykjavik. Very quiet area, with lot of birds singing during summer. My land is over 5000 m2 with lot of trees making the spot very calm without wind. Beautiful mountain view. Drive from the main road only about 5 minutes. You will be perfectly located for day tours to popular tourist attractions in south of Iceland, such as the Golden Circle such as to Thingvellir National park, Geysir hot spring, and Gullfoss the waterfall. Other day tours along the south cost such as to Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, to the Black Sand beach close to Vík í Mýrdal, Dyrhólaey, just to mention few popular options. If you are driving directly from Keflavik airport, then the easiest way to get to the cottage, is to set in directions from Keflavik to Kerhraun "cosy cottage" (google map) which is already registered there :) The driving time in 90 min or 1 hour 30 min +/-10 min
