  • Hello, the following two properties have exactly the same pictures and description but are listed in two different locations, Flateyri and Suðureyri. Can you clarify whether they are the same property or not? If not, can you clarify why the pictures are the same? I'm a bit confused

    We have in total 12 cabins that all look exactly the same from the inside and out. 3 of them are located in Suðureyri and 9 of them in Flateyri. I hope this answers your question :)

Property information

Our cottages are sized 67m2. All houses have four beds in three rooms. There is a adjoining living room and kitchen as well as a bathroom with a shower. Free Wi-Fi, smart TV, large dining table for six guests, stove with an oven, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, pots, pans, and all general kitchen utensils.

Neighbourhood information

About 300 people live in this small fishing village and most of them work with fish or fishing. It is therefore very likely that when visitors visit the restaurant in the village, they will find native fishermen mixed with international tourists. Suðureyri has a small grocery shop with milk bread and basic things, a good outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, and a gym. 20 minute drive away is Ísafjörður, which is a much larger town with all the main services. On weekdays there is a bus that makes three trips a day between the two places, but we recommend that guests have a rental car at their disposal, to explore Westfjords during their visit, because they are unique.
