Located just an hour's drive from the Ring Road, this cabin is a perfect retreat, whether the weather is sunny or rainy. The cabin features two comfortable bedrooms, a gallery loft with two single beds, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, providing ample space for relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grilling area make it easy to enjoy home-cooked meals. For guest's convenience, towels and bed linen are provided. Guests can also enjoy free WiFi and private parking during their stay. Straight from the window, you’ll be able to get a full panoramic view of the Langanes peninsula in all its beauty and glory. The area is home to many species of birds, making it a haven for bird enthusiasts. In the morning, you'll be greeted by the soothing sounds of birds chirping, and if you are lucky, an oystercatcher might come by to greet you. In a tiny village of no more than 60 inhabitants, you will find desired peace and tranquility. With two bedrooms, a gallery loft, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, it is ideal for a group of friends or a family with children. You can cook meals in a fully equipped kitchen or outdoor grilling area. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a refrigerator with a small freezer, a coffee machine, an electric oven, an electric kettle, and a small food processor. Step outside onto the large wooden deck, sit on a bench or a comfy chair, and simply enjoy the view.

- Guests can enjoy high-speed WiFi - Plenty of parking space just in front of the cabin. - Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin, but you can enjoy your cigarette outside on the terrace. - Pets are not allowed. - There is no grocery shop in Bakkafjörður, so make sure to buy everything necessary in advance. Closest shops are in Vopnafjörður (30km) and Þórshöfn (40km). You can, however, grab a bite in North East restaurant in Bakkafjörður (summer months only) and fill up your tank with gas also in the village. Popular points of interest: * Digranes Lighthouse – approximately one hour hike from the cabin * Selárdalur Swimming Pool – 20 min drive towards Vopnafjörður * Bustarfell Manor – turf houses close to Vopnafjörður, around 50 min drive * Raudanes Point - 7km hike along the coast, an hour drive away * Stuðlagil Canyon - basalt column canyon, 1.40 hour drive towards Egilsstaðir * Dettifoss - second most powerful waterfall in Europe, 2 hours drive * Mývatn - geothermal baths, lake and sulphur fields, approximately 2 hours drive
