Just off Iceland’s Ring Road/Route 1, these self-service cottages also have access to a guest kitchen, TV lounge and laundry room. Akureyri town centre is a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi is free. Akureyri Cottages feature simple décor and furnishings. Some have their own kitchen, bathroom is shared between two two-bedroom cottage. The neighbouring hostel’s facilities are available for cottage guests. These include a furnished terrace and BBQ equipment. The nearest supermarket is 100 metres from Akureyri Cottages. Discounts at local restaurants can also be arranged. Akureyri Botanic Gardens is within 5 minutes’ drive.
