The place was awesome, our spacy room had two large windows with net protected side parts, so we lived 24/24 breathing evergreen oaks and pine jungle air. A beautiful view to the lake with a big balcony, a nice possibility to wake up naturally with a sunrise view of Himalaya mountains. Also some times macaques passed us, it was a great fun to see them so close through the window. Nice birds observable directly from balcony in the morning and more species in a forest just few steps away. Good location to make trekking and sports on the lake. A spacy bathroom, a very comfortable bed with good cover.
We always had a very good breakfast, also tea available in rooms. Many nice small vegetarian restaurants in proximity.
All staff was very nice and helpful.

Honestly, Bhimtal doesn't have much in itself.
Honestly, Bhimtal doesn't have much in itself. It can be considered as a peaceful sied location or getaway from the busy Nainital. Most people take a day trip to bhimtal while staying in nainital. However, we did the opposite. Since stays are cheaper, we stayed in Bhimtal and took day trips to Nainital, Kainchi Dham and Mukteshwar. Bhimtal is very peaceful, and has a few lakes with boating and basic activities. All major places are about 1 hr away. You can definitely plan for a peaceful and relaxing holiday here.

Incase you are expecting this to be a proper hill station then u r wrong, this is more of village with few good options to stay and few good restaurants. One of the good hotel where u can stay is Sarovar Portico. Best time to visit is winters otherwise u will find very hot weather throughout the year and practically nothing to do except few sports activity.

An incident which touched my heart happened that when I reached the hotel, I saw that the tyre of my car was punctured and unfortunately Stepney also got punctured on the way, the hotel staff itself started changing my tyre and then a young, smart boy came, and he changed my tyre without care about his clothes.
The next morning I came to know that the boy himself was the owner of the hotel. Mr Nilesh. God bless you son 💕💕💕👌👌😊🙏
