Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place amidst tropical greens! This house has history. It was built by the Burmese in the late 1800s. Over the years it has been through many renovations. Finally extended to make it more spacious and more comfortable. It also holds some additional vintage furniture a wooden truck passed down over 4 generations. Check in after 12.30 pm. Check out by 9.30 am. This place will make you feel at home in a tropical island home for sure!

l am a travel enthusiast. Travelled 24 countries so far. I and my husband run our family business in Bangalore which is 40+ years old. Our work takes us places and we both hold great interest in seeking knowledge in interiors & architecture. I’m passionate about driving. And in my free time I enjoy listening to music, cooking, trekking and trying all kinds of adventure sports. Hibiscus is very close to my heart because it is my home where I grew up. I personally have designed and furnished this entire place, without any help from a interior designer or civil engineer. It is my touch in each & every aspect of the house. It’s a 5 mins walk to Flag point. You could walk along the promenade during sunset and it lights up beautifully in the evening. Its a great sight in itself. Less than 5 mins by cab to the Cellular jail, Ross Island ferry dock, water sports, and bazaar shopping area or any place you wish to visit in Port Blair City.
