Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea.

Nice one-time splurge just to say, "I stayed there a few nights." The historical Palace side of the property is very interesting from a historical stance. But on the Tower side, other than having a blissfully quiet and uncrowded breakfast each morning in Souk up on the 21st floor rather than being with hordes of other guests down in the Shamiana restaurant, there really isn't much to rave about. The rooms are well appointed but on the small side. Staff is sometimes friendly and helpful and sometimes distant and cool. The location is fairly good, even though taking Uber is advised over walking on Mumbai's crazy streets.

We liked the architecture from the colonial period and the art deco buildings, especially the station, the law courts and the university. Elephant Island was a good half day trip. The massive outdoor laundry, dhobi ghat has to be seen

The Fort area was the best. Bandra good too.
The Fort area was the best. Bandra good too. Uber auto very cheap to get around but are not allowed in Mumbai south of Bandra. Not a real lot to do. Be aware of pick pockets especially around railway stations if you are using them to cross the busy roads. Smog was really bad in Mumbai south of Bandra. Masks may help. Lots of cricket games happening on Sundays in the ovals opposite the High Court.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic!
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and a variety of amenities nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable, and the facilities provided exceeded our expectations. The WiFi was reliable, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. Some amazing restaurants nearby as well as the ones inside the hotel. The decorations were beautiful too for Christmas and overall vibe of the hotel was great. The hotel's walkability score was excellent, as we could easily explore the surrounding area on foot. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Mumbai. Visit Elvis Inn!

We stayed in the resort since we wanted to enjoy a scenic beach resort in peaceful outskirts in the lushy green area in Mumbai. At the same time it is easily reacheable to the western suburbs of Mumbai by the many means of the transport, auto and buses etc... It is bit far from international airport minimum 45 to 50 mins of drive, but worth it for a relaxed stay.

Very good hotel in a an excellent location in Mumbai. 5 star breakfast and the staff was just amazing answering all your requests in a very friendly and efficient manner. Most rooms have quite small windows which made me request an upgrade. The new room was fantastic, spacious and bright with a big and confortable bed.
The location is good, centrally located and close proximity to the airport. So the venue is best suited for any quick stops to the city as getting in and out of Mumbai is a breeze. The staff is friendly and young and eager to help. Very polite and helpful.
Very kind staff , we felt very welcome in the middle of the night. The bed is still too short for European people, but comparing to other hotels close to the airport, is the Best Mumbai Hotel very good. We stayed there for the second time.
