The Village House is a stylish three bedroom terraced property set in the heart of Malahide. Understated yet decorated to a very high standard, this bijoux property currently sleeps five and is within a two minute walk to fantastic amenities that Malahide has to offer. The ground floor hosts a double bedroom off the entrance, a "compact " living room, simple kitchen with a dining space and the bathroom. The kitchen leads out to a patio with outdoor seating and another dining area. The bathroom is located on the ground floor at the back of the kitchen, not ideal for today's modern standards but for an early 1900's property one cannot complain.....we have come a long way from then. The property has two bedrooms upstairs, one single and one super king with room for a cot.
Malahide is a thriving seaside village with stunning beaches, a magnificent medieval castle, a 350 berth marina and an abundance of restaurants, bars, cafes and boutiques. Come chill, take a yoga class at the Yoga Santuary or enjoy one of our local gyms all while overlooking the coast. Pilates, Thai Massage, Thai Food, Windsurf, take a dip with the regulars at Low Rock. Book evening dining in advance for Kajal ( contemporary Pakistani ) and Old Street, who's seasonal menus of modern Irish dishes with appeal to all. Our resident Italian is That's Amore, delicious seafood, pasta and pizzas in a family setting, get romantic at Malahide Social and catch up with friends at the Greedy Goose. All of these are a favourite with locals. During the day stroll around leafy castle grounds, meander to Avoca for lunch, fit in a pint of Guinness in the village late afternoon. If, after all of that you just want to chill with a take out ......you can't beat Chow Town for super fresh Chinese food. There is something for everyone in Malahide and we look forward to welcoming you to our picturesque village.
