Spot the herd of red deer and enjoy incredible views of Lough Leane and Ross Castle. Over 100 archaeological and historical sites have been mapped in the Beaufort area, look out for the Dunloe Ogham stones and Ballymalis Castle. The village is located between Killorglin and Killarney and has shops, pubs, and restaurants. It is a popular destination for tourists every year because of its expansive countryside, nearby beaches, yearly festivals, and vibrant nightlife in Killarney, which features traditional music in many of the pubs and bars. There are several walks through the breathtaking scenery in this area, through the forests or in the mountains. For cyclists Beaufort is on the many routes throughout Kerry for short or long trips.
