Castleisland town has everything you will need during your stay. There are many good supermarkets for all your essentials. Make sure you take a stroll along the beautiful river Maine and take some bread to feed the ducks, and water hens. A spot of retail therapy in the fashion capital Castleisland. If you like to take to the hills, why not try your fitness levels at Glanageenty Walkways featuring 3 walking routes and is situated in Ballymacelligott. After a busy day hiking quell the thirst in one of Castleisland many pub's with some traditional music from the area. I would recommend a car for getting around as public transport in this area is minimal . Touring Kerry from the Lodge is easy, we will supply you with maps and touring suggestions during your stay. Our top picks of a few days stay in Kerry. Day 1. Ring of Kerry, so many sights to see along the way. Day 2. Dingle Peninsula, also getting in a visit to Dingle town. Day 3. Killarney town, and National Park. This scenery is breadth taking. Day 4. The Ring of Beara. Travel through the Healy Pass, and visit the Island of Dursey by cable car. Too much to see in Beautiful Kerry, and even after 4 days you still won't have got to see everything, so you may have to make a return trip.
