Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town centre. Each room at Shamrock Lodge offers free Wi-Fi, along with a TV and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms also enjoy scenic views over the gardens. Iona Bar has garden views and serves traditional food every day. An Luain Restaurant is renowned in the Midlands for its excellent cuisine. Free parking is available on site, and Athlone’s rail and bus station is 5 minutes’ drive away.
