Set in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains, you will have your own private entrance. Clean and fresh rooms, double bed with a memory foam mattress and crisp cotton bed linen. There is a kitchenette area within the studio with tea/coffee facilities, Nespresso (pods supplied), microwave, toaster and a fridge. We supply welcome pack of a continental self serve breakfast items such as cereal,, brown bread, jam, butter, fruit, & orange juice. Bottled water is also provided and a selection of herbal teas. The studio has an excellent wifi connection and a smart TV so you can connect to your own Netflix account. Bathroom has a power shower. Mirror with built in light and shaving point. Towels are provided along with free toiletries. Please note it take 20 mins for water to heat. There is no smoking in the studio but there is lots of room outside with a sand bucket to extinguish cigarettes. Please note that there are 2 dogs and a cat at the property but they are separate from guests

Meadowbrook Studio is only 10 mins walk from Avondale Forestry park with its fantastic forestry trails and scenery. 15 mins drive will bring you to Glendalough, Glenmalure (Lugnaquilla), Brittas Bay beach or Mount Usher Gardens. Or take a quick 10mins trip to Avoca or Kilmacurragh Botanic Gardens. So an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas The local village is 2km where there are train and bus links along with supermarket, coffee shop, restaurants and pubs serving food. Parnell Memorial Park is a beautiful green area, with sculptures and winding paths and outdoor gym, as well as a great playground for the kids. The 'Jubilee Looped Walk' will take you through the famine graveyard, the original mass path, millennium forest and along the banks of the Avonmore River. The route starts at the church car park. For those interested in cycling their way around County Wicklow, you will find many interesting routes close by, such as the 'Meetings of the waters loop' which takes in Rathdrum, Meetings of the water/Avoca, Aughrim, Glenmalure and Glendalough/Laragh.
