Enjoy the North Kerry coast, centrally located on the Wild Atlantic.Way. Clashmealcon is steeped in its own history, with lush green fields and fresh sea air. Hear the waves crashing at night and watch the lighthouse @ Clare's Loophead. Close to villages Ballyduff, Causeway with family run bakeries, grocers & hospitality. Surrounded by restaurants, magnificent beaches @ Ballybunion, Beale, Ballyheigue, Banna strand, Fenit. and a very local Kilmore strand Golf courses are within a short distance. On the main north coast road, between Ballybunion and Ballyheigue; kerry- Head, on the wild Atlantic Way. We are situated in the countryside, surrounded by lush green fields and sea views. We are a very short distance to a local Kilmore beach, the Clashmealcon caves monument, and a history museum is near the village of Ballyduff. There is a pub within walking distance and local taxis are available on request. There are several local sites of particular beauty, The Meenagahane Pier, The Rattoo round tower, Ballingar bog, cliff walks, country roads to explore. We are 15mins from Listowel town; 30mins from Tralee ;50mins from Killarney; 1hr and 10 mins from Dingle. You can travel by car, taxis are nearby and some bus routes are available from the village, subject to timetables. It is safe enough to walk and cycle, it is an agricultural area with lots of back roads, with unspoilt tressures. It is potentially busy during the height of the summer season.
