Welcome all! We are conscious of the current crisis and are cleaning and disinfecting as per guidelines, including the buffer time between rentals. The property is a newly renovated apartment which adjoins our rarely used holiday house, so you will have the place to yourself. The apartment is 3.9km from centre of Killarney town and is located in the quiet countryside on an old farm with great views of the Mountains and Lakes and stars at night:) The apartment is 47 sqms. It is an Open-Plan Kitchen, Living and Dining area with a bedroom and ensuite with shower. There is an Oil Central Heating system for all rooms except the second bedroom , this has electric heating only . The Main Bedroom has a double Bed and the additional/second Bedroom has two single beds and is accessed off the main bedroom. The apartment has a shared driveway but separate entrance and is self contained. There are no laundry facilities in the apartment but but we can arrange for you to use the laundry facilities in the house if needed. You will have your own apartment, gardens and outside spaces and use of the private fields on our old farm and river forest that you are free to explore
Greeting all, We've just set up this rental apartment, I’m Terry, and me and my son Tadhg and his partner Helena will do our best to make you feel comfortable and welcome in our old countryside farm! I’m a retired so when I’m around I’ll be glad to give you advice on where best to explore in Kerry. My son is an architect and he lives just across the farm, so he or his partner Helena will receive you if I’m not around! In his cottage he has hens, a dog and a beautiful wild edible forest and vegetable garden that you can visit if you like. Between all of us we speak English, Spanish, a little French and Portuguese. Our Guest House has 2 bedrooms, the bathroom an 2nd bedroom is accessible via the main bedroom , please take a look at the drawing included in the photos to see the exact layout of all the rooms to make sure you are happy with everything:) We hope you will feel very welcome here! We have recycling bins for Plastic, Cardboard, Glass, Metal and we would really appreciate it if you could recycle please. Please note that no extra guests are permitted to stay overnight unless booked in on this website.
The apartment is 3.9km from centre of Killarney town, its 20 minutes walk to the nearest shop or 40 minutes walk to the centre of killarney Town or 7 mins car drive. There are forest walks on our land or more dedicated path walks in a public forest nearby (5 mins walk away). Killarney itself is full of outdoor activities which are all a few kilometers away.
