We live in a quiet residential area very close to the city centre. All local amenities such as restaurants, pubs etc. are just a five minute walk away. Nearby attractions Great Westernern Greenway: Is a national way-marked walking trail that spans 216km from Ballycastle in North Mayo to Oughterard in County Galway. The Mayo section of The Western Way covers 150kms and is a linear walking route from Leenaun to the village of Ballycastle. It's made up of tarmac roads, forestry tracks and moorland paths. The scenic views along the trail are outstanding. The trail is just 1.2km from Brooklodge bed and breakfast. Westport House: Is just 2.6km from our home and is one of Ireland’s best loved heritage attractions. It was built in the 18th Century and is still privately owned by the Browne family. With over 30 rooms on show, visitors can take a tour of this historic house and a wander through the lovely grounds. Wild Atlantic Way Mayo: is the longest defined coastal drive in the world. Mayo's 543km coastal drive has some of the most breathtaking areas of scenic beauty in Ireland.
