Limerick and is just a few minutes from Adare village making it an ideal tourist base for exploring the West of Ireland and the Shannon region. Within easy travelling distance are the Lakes of Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and the Blasket Islands in Kerry, Blarney Castle and the Blarney Stone in Cork, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren in county Clare. There is an on-site restaurant, where guests can purchase breakfast each morning, and a garden centre is also located on the property. Adare village is renowned as a location for weddings and makes Ballycannon Lodge Hotel the ideal accommodation base. There are also numerous golf courses and equestrian centres nearby and Limerick Racecourse is just 15 minutes away. If you just want to relax then you may like to stroll around the grounds of the hotel or visit our garden centre (next door). Children will especially enjoy a visit to our pet's corner. The nearby village park with over 1 acre of landscaped grounds is also a pleasant place to visit.

Neighbourhood information

We are a village situated ten minutes drive from Adare village. We have two pubs a shop hairdressers park and church and school in the village. There are buses passing every half hour to take you to interesting places you might want to see. We have a garden centre restaurant and the accommodation and we also have Music Centre. Our lodge is family orientated we have Currachase woods close by which is very popular for walks and feeding the ducks and getting in touch with nature. Foynes is also close by and we have the museum there which is very interesting for any one interesting in aeroplanes. Access to swimming pools can be arranged and spa days. We are willing to look after all needs having prior requested.
