Villa Luna is a brand new modern minimalist villa on Gili Air nestled in a coconut grove in the quiet center of the island. As a two-story, flexible two-bedroom, private pool villa, no other properties on Gili Air quite compare. Villa Luna lets in plenty of natural light through the west-facing floor-to-ceiling windowed-doors which can be fully opened to allow for circulation that makes it feel like an open-air space. Villa Luna’s fully equipped kitchen will appeal to those who want to prepare home-cooked meals as well as those who just want to start the day with a hot cup of coffee or tea or end the day with a chilled beverage. Villa Luna has some customizable options to best suit your party’s needs. The separated master bedroom sleeps two in a luxurious king-size bed with ensuite outdoor bathroom. For maximum temperature control, the master bedroom includes a ceiling fan and a powerful air conditioner. You will also find a large closet to unpack your items to feel right at home. Upstairs, you will find the “Rumpus Room” which is also known as the mezzanine bedroom. This room can be configured to your liking. We can set up two sofas for lounging, a super plush king-sized bed, or two standard twin beds. Please note that the bathroom for this side of the villa is downstairs adjacent to the kitchen. There is not a dedicated closet for the mezzanine bedroom, but there is plenty of storage space in the laundry room downstairs. Outside Villa Luna, you will find a 5 meter round swimming pool that is 1.5 meters deep with seating all around to make afternoons by the pool comfortable and refreshing. We provide plenty of outdoor-safe dishes and glassware that can be used by the pool or the upper level sun deck which also comes complete with an outdoor refrigerator so your next cold drink is never too far away. For those wanting a bird’s eye view, you can brave the ladder to the yoga platform to enjoy a morning coffee, a midday stretch, or a sunset drink in the tree tops.

Hi, I’m Lucy! I fell in love with Gili Air a few years ago and I’m so excited to have built my dream home here. I am a long time kindergarten teacher and educational director. Over the years, I have done many fundraisers to support the local elementary school, including completely remodeling the school’s library. 1% from every booking will go directly to support initiatives at the local kindergarten and SDN1. I am so excited to share Villa Luna with my guests. I am originally from Sonoma, California which is also called the Valley of the Moon and Pak Luna was the lead builder on the project so the name, Villa Luna, is also a tribute to my original home and the amazing team that worked for 5 ½ months to make my home away from home come to life.

Villa Luna is located in the center of the island, less than a 10 minute bike ride to every beach, restaurant, and activity. When you arrive, our guidebook will fill you in on all the best places to eat, drink, and enjoy all the island has to offer. Villa Luna is in the village so you’ll be tucked away from the bust streets during high season. We currently have two friendly neighbors The Cove and The Rose Shell, as well as a local cidomo driver named Medun, and his two horses, Messi and Frozen. It can be dark in the neighborhood at night, especially around the new moon, so please plan to bring a light source for your evening outings.
