This beautifully renovated Villa is perfectly situated in the heart of Jogja, 10 mins walk from the famous Jalan Malioboro and Jogja trainstation. The house is over 100 years old with a rich family history, it is a heritage listed structure detailed and decorated with a contemporary twist, its the perfect place to experience authentic Javanese living. With 5 bedrooms with AC and 5 ensuite with hotwater showers, an extra WC, full kitchen, open living and dining and rooftop terrace garden it is a perfect oasis in the heart of busltling Jogja. Wifi is available in all rooms and areas with a digital TV and satelite channels. Although breakfast is not included, our property manager upon request can organise delicious local breakfast dishes like Soto Ayam, Gudeg and the famous Lupis Mbah Satinem as featured in BBC News (just 500m away) along with Jogja's famous health tonic (Jamu) to wash it down.
Resa is the 13th generation descendant of the hand full of original family from Jogja, particularly Gowongan, Jetis. The house has been a home for 5 generations of the family. With this rich history we are very proud that the property has never traded hands, Resa is a hotelier that have resorts in Gili Air, Lombok, and Sumbawa. Our Villa manager Mas Awal is also part of the family, his kind and attentive nature will make your stay enjoyable.
Strategically located 10 mins walk from the Jogja Station and Jalan Maliobro. Gowongan Jetis is a great base for travelers keen to be in the thick of the action. We can also help with tour information, motorbike and car rental and Laundry service. We can also direct you from the Jogjakarta international Airport or Adisucipto Jogja Airport, using the train or pick you up with a private car upon request at extra charge.
