Studios & Rooms Lela are situated in a beautiful stone built house located in the center of Šipanska Luka, peaceful village on the northwestern side of Šipan island, Dubrovnik, Croatia. House was built in the 19th century and a complete reconstruction was finished in 2015. "Lela" has three studio apartments (two Superior Studios, one Studio Deluxe) and three rooms (Deluxe Rooms) that can be booked separately or with Connecting option (Superior Studio and Deluxe Room). All guests have access to shared terrace with outdoor furniture. *Baby cot is available upon request in studio apartments.

My name is Jelena and I'm part of a big family living on Šipan island. There is five of us siblings, all grown up and doing their own thing. My "thing" always was a tourism. I went to high school in Tourism and Hospitality, and during summer breaks I worked as a waiter in bars and restaurants on Sipan island. In 2015 I started to work on the reception of a small hotel. Quite soon I was promoted to the position of Reception Manager and worked this for nearly 5 summer seasons. During the winter break from the job, I studied at University of Dubrovnik, programme Hotel Industry, Restaurant Industry and Gastronomy. In 2020, things happening on the tourism market made me think about my life choices, and I decided that is the time to start something new. Soon, my focus shifted on my family studio apartments and rooms that till then were managed by one adventure travel agency. By the beginning of the summer season 2021, I did a makeover of our studios and rooms and started to build our brand, personally by providing my service to our guests, and online selling and promoting our studio apartments and rooms. At the same time, I continued studying at college and in 2022 I finished a Master degree in Hotel Industry at University of Dubrovnik. I have a huge love towards hotels and how hotels are run and organised. My goal is to provide the best holiday vacation experience combining hotel-style service with privately run accommodation. Usually, it's just me taking care of everything, but when it gets busy, my family is there to help me. My dad is the one who designed all the rooms, studio apartments and supervised reconstruction of the house. My mum is a lovely and chatty lady that works in our souvenir and gift shop just around the corner. Actually, my mum nickname is Lela and that is how our studio apartments and rooms got the name in a first place. Feel free to contact me if you may need anything.
