So it is necessary for our guests to be modest and adventurous. ...................................................................................................... Access to the house is possible from the sea or by land. It is preferable to arrive in the daylight, because there is no public lighting on the location. If you are by car there is a 10 minutes walk from the nearest parking place to the house and the luggage (drinking water, food...) needs to be carried along by foot. In that case it is recommended to bring smaller suitcases because a pathway leading to the house gets narrow in some parts. Biking on the path is not allowed. Most elegant way is to bring the luggage (from port of Vis) directly to the house by a Taxi boat. That way guests often choose to send the luggage and walk to the house. You have to let us know prior to your arrival, if you wish to book the taxi boat so we can make a reservation and organize it for you. Hopefully the weather conditions are fine as well. The cost of the taxi boat is 50 eur. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT? We highly recommend you to visit the island in a low season when even some restaurants already close their doors and experience strong presence of the nature, complete peace and intimacy. In high season boats are coming into the bay and make more noise but still you have all the peaceful mornings and your own access to the sea that can make you fall in love with this little gem.

In this secluded paradise you can observe the sky full of stars and jump into the crystal blue sea directly from your bed. The place is in the nature away from all the infrastructure. And also The house is decorated in the style of Provence and with Its hand made furniture gives a special warm feeling. It has air-condition and everything necessary for daily stays (2 towels per person, toilette papers, blankets, hairdryer,...). Kitchen has 2 gas burners, refrigerator with a small freezer and basic equipment like dishes, toaster, stick blender, water heater, coffee maker, basic spices, oil, vinegar, detergents, soap, candles...). Food and drinking water needs to be brought along. Bathroom is indoors with an outdoor enclosed solar shower. Sleeping area is on the loft (spacious and sitting height) and it might not be very comfortable for tall people or people intolerant to small places. Because of the unprotected loft stairs the place is not so suitable for little children. In front of the house is a covered space with wooden table, hammock and benches from where the stairs leads down to the sea. To the other side there is a stony terrace where you can relax and sunbath in deckchairs. There are some sea urchins at the bottom of the sea but the access to the sea is also available by stairs. Usually I welcome my guests at at the house and if time allows me I meet them at the parking place to help with the luggage. WIFI A Wifi connection is available on the location. The internet connection is still not very good in some parts of the island. Our bay is mostly well covered and the signal is mostly strong and fast enough. If your stay depends on a perfect wifi connection and work we warn you that it is not 100% reliable. The router is located in the house above due to a better transmitter signal. The signal depends on the transmitter load (number of tourists) and also on the weather. TRANSPORT Connection between the islands is not well organized. There are few agencies offering every day transfers to Hvar and back. Also a public transport connection to Hvar and Brač island is available once per week only if you are by foot. From town of Vis to Stoncica, Rukavac, Srebrena and Stiniva bay there is a mini bus twice per day but a better possibility might be renting a car or a motorcycle, (e)bike. There is always an option to call a Taxi or ask some locals to take you along when they go to town of Vis. Hitchhiking is not uncommon on the island. *OUR REQUESTS* The water is from the well so saving water is necessary. Communication prior to your arrival is also necessary so we can figure out the way of bringing your luggage to the house. We try to be nature friendly so modesty and awareness of protecting nature is desirable (saving energy sources, recycling, etc.) There is no poisonous animals on the island but there is animal life all around. Lizards, wasps, bees, mouses, spiders, ... They are all a part of the habitat here. They do stay away from humans but it is required to store your food away from them. We also ask our guests to keep the place tidy and take good care of things. It is difficult to renovate on such secluded area and if something goes wrong we need to patiently wait for the repair service from the mainland. So things here are not so accessible, fast repairable and done quickly. Please read the house rules as well.
