In the picturesque bay, where one of the most beautiful rivers, the Krka river, meets the sea, is the oldest Croatian autochthonous city on the coast - Šibenik. The rich history of the city is evidenced by 4 towers, 3 of which surround it from the mainland: Barone, St. John and St. Mihovil and one guards the sea access: the fortress of St. Nicholas, which was declared a UNESCO monument.
