Neighborhood info

Vela Luka on Korčula is the youngest settlement on the island and the birthplace of many Croatian artists. An unspoilt oasis, surrounded by turquoise sea, forest, olive groves through which more than 100 kilometers of hiking and cycling trails stretch, is the right place for lovers of nature and active tourism. Above the town itself is the most important archaeological site in the Mediterranean - Vela spila (cave). During the evening walk, the traditional klapa song heard from the market square of the church of St. Joseph will not leave you indifferent. You can also give your thumbs up to the interesting project "Mosaic Harbour" by embedding your stone in the longest mosaic in the world.
