In Villa Sunset; you have it all! you are in rural area enjoying full privacy and tranquillity, while surrounded with neighbourhood and facing a spectacular view of old villages of Santa Trinita (Agia Triada) and Messi at the opposite hills. Up on the hill! with the advantage of watching sunrise, olive groves and stunning views across the valley to the sea. The villa itself combines traditional Cretan style with a modern touch that guarantees comfort and simplicity. Enjoy the magical views, variety of seasonal fruit trees the villa covers and aromatic scent of Jasmine flowers from everywhere even when you are in the sitting area or relaxing on hammocks on the roof terrace. From the villa you can get anywhere in Crete with an easy access” Heraklion airport is 50 minutes away. Chania airport 40 minutes”. While a car is a necessity, it will give you a rare experience of discovering the beauty of driving across city, valley, mountains up to the hill and the chance to visit old villages and their lovely, warm shops & taverns, touristic sights and wonderful beaches around Rethymnon. I chose Agia Triada as it is near to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet with magical views. my aim is to make my guests feel relaxed, at peace and to enjoy every minute of their holiday and provide them with the best service.
The Agia Triada of Rethymno is a village near Mesi, 11 km southeast of the city of Rethymno on the road towards the Arkadi monastery. In an area full of olive trees and orchards, Agia Triada of Rethymno is a small village with spectacular view at the opposite hill, where the old village of Santa Trinita is located, as it was called by the Venetians. In the middle of the village, with its population not exceeding 50 residents, there is the Byzantine church that gave its name to this area. Apart from the church, the visitor’s attention is also attracted by the Venetian buildings along the narrow alleys. The residence of the during the Ottoman rule landlord, Aga Albanis, is one of the important monuments of the village.
