At 20 meters from the dreamiest beach on the island, away from the crowd, even on the most bustling days of the holidays, in a pristine pine forest, is Villa Irene Mare. Built in 1890 with full respect for the environment, since it is renovated in 2018, using the original stone, wood and adding glass, and with the latest trends in technology and design, it offers all modern amenities (Wi-Fi unlimited and free, flat TV 4K, Air-condition inverter in all areas of the house, fully equipped kitchen, external shower with hot water supply, etc.) to its guests. The house consists of a bedroom with a double large bed (2 meters long), a second bedroom with 2 single large beds (2 meters long) that can be joined in a double, and a living room with 3 sofas (turned into beds) that can accommodate 3 people. It is ideal for a family or 2 families with a total of 7 people. Its kitchen, which is open to the living room, includes everything needed to make the guest's eating time comfortable, having a very large fridge so that they have enough supplies for days, as well as a dishwasher. The bathroom has a double washbasin and a glass shower.
We would like to inform you that we are following all the developments of cov-19. So, we would like to assure you that in collaboration with a specialized company in Poros, the premises of the house, internally and externally, for the cov-19, will be VERY thoroughly, in each departure and each arrival separately for every reservation. In fact, there will be a written certificate from the company for every action. In addition, linen (sheets-towels and all kinds of fabric at home) will be washed in professional washing machines, at temperatures above 60 C, for complete disinfection by cov-19. People who clean the house will wear the appropriate masks and gloves to avoid any contact with surfaces. And that, without any extra burden for you. As you will know from the description, the house is isolated from other houses and the beach that is right in front of the house is almost private, since it is used by a small number of visitors due to the relatively long distance from the city center of the island. We assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure that your vacation is safe, as if you were staying in your own home.
The 1650 m² fully fenced garden that provides safety to your pets, has a 2-seat secured free parking, a ping pong table with a night-time spotlight, and an external transportable BBQ, to prepare the family's meal or dinner. The beach is sandy with fine pebbles in the outside part and you can use the canoe for nearby trips and sun beds/ umbrellas to relax and enjoy sunbathing in the sea. The large table located under the 80-year-old plane tree and has a unique view of the sea will offer you unforgettable moments of tranquility and relaxation since the isolation of the house (the nearest neighboring building is more than 100 m away) offers quiet under the splash of sea waves. The bay of Vagionia has huge archaeological (it was the port for the ancient trireme who visited the Temple of Poseidon since from the beach began the path that ended at the top of the mountain that is located since today the temple) and historical significance (it was for more than two centuries the base of the famous Barbarian pirates) The activities you can dο in the area are swimming and sunbathing, canoeing, fishing and hiking in the forest.
