I had a wonderful weekend with my mom at this hotel, thanks to Nikoleta and the hotel staff. There is a large parking area, the garden is peaceful, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The bed is so comfortable, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of high-quality ingredients. This is definitely a place we will want to return to. The city is perfect if you just want to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Especially in the evening there are many restaurants where you can enjoy a very good meal and drinks for approx 55 eur (3 pers)
Very important: follow that they bring to the table everything that you’ve ordered because they may miss to bring but then they will put it on your bill. It happened to me in Masa Soura - they realised the mistake (that the’ve made me pay for something that never arived at the table) but said they will fix it next time I came. Still, when I returned 2 days later, even though I reminded them, they pretended not to understand.

Lovely city with lots of things to do.
Lovely city with lots of things to do. Great for a vacation and for enjoying Greek cuisine. :) I love that after 20:00 they are closing one main street and it gets crowded with people and nice restaurants. Very vivid city and at the same time you can find a chill place to stay. There is everything for everyone.

I love Alexandroupolis.
I love Alexandroupolis. I have been visiting since I was a child. We always had so much fun with family and friends. The beaches in Agia Paraskevi are beautiful. It’s a great city for families. It has great shops and great eateries. The people are very friendly!
Alexandroupolis is easy to navigate on foot. There is bus service to all the beaches.
Some great eateries are Zourafa, Yialos, and Sarikas known for their good seafood., Kokoraki for the best chicken souvlaki or gyro sandwiches. All the cafes are great! Flisvos cafe has great loukoumades. Kerouac is a cafe but also serves a great brunch!

The city is small and everything is reachable by a 10 minute walk. Restaurants and cafes are good quality and prices are not very high (coffee 2 euros etc). By ten minutes drive, you can arrive beautiful beaches of Makri village.

If you eat the same meal here as you had in Thessaloniki, you will definitely pay twice the price. Car parking is a serious issue. If you want to eat in an overcrowded decent place, you need a reservation.

The apartments are located very close to the sea - the beach is about 50 meters from the hotel. There is no roads to cross while you are going to the beach from the hotel, so it is a good place to stay for a summer holiday. The hotel is located out of Alexandroupolis, and a distance to the city center is about 3 km. Also, the apartments have a free parking. Lidl supermarket is very close, about 100 m. The owner is a very nice guy, always open to help. Write to him at any time, and you will give an answer in few minutes.
The host was most kind, helpful and yielding. There was a free parking place near the apartment. The street was peaceful and quiet though very near the promenade. The apartment -and the whole building - was modern and clean. We stayed there two nights instead of one.
Alexandroupoli became one of my favorite cities in Greece. The ferry to Samothraki left near-by.
It was the first time we visit Alexandroupoli, for this reason we choosed house where nearest town center. House has great location, you can walk everywhere what you need. I'm sure about that I will choose this house again for our next trip. Thank you for hosting.
The best thing about hotel Klio is its location - 3 min from the beach. The beds were comfortable and the lienens were clean and were changed regularily.
